Every month’s deadline ensures that HMRC receives the payment. The same rules apply to the Construction Industry Scheme. 19th is for submitting older methods like the cheque by post or to allow HMRC enough time to process these. However, the 22nd is the deadline for payments like Bacs. If this deadline is not met, you could have a penalty from HMRC.
19th is the monthly deadline for the postal payments of CIS, NICS and PAYE to HMRC.
22nd will be the monthly deadline for electronic remittance of CIS, NICS and PAYE to HMRC.
